'Salt' was created as a continuous backdrop to Steven Stapleton and David Tibet's art exhibition and installation at the Horse Hospital gallery, Russell Square, London, 2002. It was previously only available as a super-limited (now sold out) CD at the event, and has subsequently been reworked by Steven Stapleton and Colin Potter for their 'Salt Marie Celeste' tape. The record takes form as two tracts of extended beatless drones with that especially bleak, ethereal and unheimlich aesthetic they've honed over the last three decades. Touching the void?
